The Northside Arts Collective serves to:
• Create a network of artists living and working on the Northside
• Receive, maintain, and distribute information concerning opportunities for local artists
• Introduce the artists living on the Northside to their local communities
• Assist neighborhoods in viewing these artists as assets and resources
• Design and promote communityarts events which enliven the sense of community and raise the level of awareness about the arts
• Serve as advisor/partner in community initiatives where the question of art is involved
